Census Bureau
Dynamix is currently performing contracts for the Census Bureau which involve Review of TIGER GIS files, Local County GIS File Review, Verification of Ground Control Point Quality, Structure Offset Measurement and Analysis, Absolute Coordinate Accuracy Needs Assessment, and Automated Statistical Quality Control Applications Development.
Dynamix Corporation offers a service that encompasses an unbiased quantitative statistical method for determining the absolute accuracy of GIS data. Dynamix Corporation’s GIS Data Acceptance Services (G-DAS) produces highly detailed reports, GIS coverage and object databases that describe and quantify the spatial and attribute quality of GIS data sets. The G-DAS team, consisting of programmers, mathematicians, GIS analysts and applications experts, relieves the pressure on government agencies to consider, quantify and forecast a GIS application’s performance by answering vital questions about the structure, content and accuracy of GIS data.
During the 2nd Quarter of 2003, Dynamix introduced the G-DAS (GIS Data Acceptance Services) line of software tools and services. Under development for more than a year, G-DAS precipitates highly detailed reports, GIS coverage and object databases that describe and quantify the spatial and attribute quality of GIS data from virtually any source. Dynamix employs G-DAS technology to ascertain the suitability of local government GIS coverage for inclusion in the Master Address File (MAF)/TIGER Accuracy Improvement Project.
