Dynamix developed a Contingency Of Operations Plan (COOP) for the Network Infrastructure Services Agency – Pentagon (NISA-Pentagon), a multi-disciplined Information Management Area (IMA) organization located in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
The COOP, also known as the Disaster Recovery Engineering Plan, outlined recovery procedures for IBM mainframe computer systems, as well as servers located in the Business Data Center of NISA-Pentagon.
Also, recommendations were made to for ‘hot site’ locations which would provide alternate processing options in case of a disaster.
Dynamix supported IMT during the Pentagon Renovation project with relocation of tape libraries and various computer hardware including de-installation, installation and re-certification.
Dynamix is currently providing consulting services to assist in the design, development and implementation of a CMMI level two compliant system including the achievement of a CMMI level two rating.
Dynamix also performed migration, data separation, installation of secured software and hardware, and administration and maintenance of mainframe and client server computer systems.
Dynamix has provided support to Pentagon Telecommunications Service Center, the WHS Budget & Finance Data Center and the Air Force Pentagon Communications Agency Data Services Center. These systems supported the workflow applications, data gathering, analysis and information sharing in support of the day-to-day DoD operational policy and administrative procedures and, in turn, the DoD mission requirements.
