Expertise in building a new mapping system that could potentially leave programs such as Mapquest in the dust has triggered a growth spurt at Dynamix Corp.
Revenues have increased 25 percent in a year's time at the information technology company, say company officials. They attribute the growth, in large part, to the company's work with geospatial information systems, a computerized mapping system merging global positioning with street addresses.
The company outgrew its 5,000-square-foot office in Landover and recently moved to Greenbelt, where it occupies 14,000 square feet.
